Family trip to the Big Island for New Year's. As Jen prepped the kids for
bed, I ran out for some last minute supplies. Smoke had already started to
fill the streets. At 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve, most stores (including
Wal-Mart) were closed. Safeway was open, though... and the booze aisle was
packed.
